Things Don't Always Go As Planned
There were artists set up selling their pieces. These giant metal animals were really cool. Their heads moved back and forth. Some were painted and some were rusted. |
We did manage to go outside and do some painting. This is sidewalk chalk paint. It is equal parts cornstarch and water with food coloring. |
Oliver was sick the entire week. Poor thing! Now Isabel has it-fever and headache. |

Spring Break Projects
I made two items of clothing for Clara the first weekend of spring break. Here is a simple elastic band skirt made from fabric from Grandma's basement. |
This dress was adapted from a pattern I saw online. The fabric was also from the same stash. I made a skirt for Izzy as well, but was unable to get a photo. |
This mobile was our first project of the weekend. I drilled holes in shells we gathered from the Glaveston beach back in November. We added some green and white sea glass as well. |

Growing Like Weeds
This was our first summer in Texas. Izzy was in a stroller. |
This was last week. Poor Izzy got caught in the sun. Izzy is much bigger and older now than Ollie was when we moved. |
We have enjoyed the Dallas Zoo and have seen them make some great improvements with new exhibits. One of our favorite activities at the zoo is the Nature Trading Center. |
