Coppell Farmer's Market

We successfully ran my craft booth at the Coppell Farmer's market this past Saturday.  It was successful on several levels.  First of all, yes, I did sell some things.  My first customer happened to be one of Damian's classmates and his pregnant wife.  They bought a number of things for their nursery and now I have another connection for selling through Parker.

Early on in our setting up process we met and chatted with the people setting up next to us.   It was also a family affair with mother, daughter and daughter-in-law.  The daughter talked to me about applying for the Urban Street Bazaar that happens the first weekend in October in Oak Cliff Dallas.  Just the Sunday before, a friend at church encouraged me to look that event up online.  Between the 2 encouragements (and after I asked our farmer's market neighbor several questions) I decided to apply for the event.  I will not know until next week whether I have been accepted.

We also felt like the event was successful in the setting up of the booth and seeing what changes need to happen next time, etc.

We will set up at this farmer's market the last weekend in October, which I feel will be more profitable.  I handed out quite a few business cards and talked to people about coming in the fall.

Lewis helped me get ready for the booth.
