Saturday Activities

Last night we took a trip to Ikea. Isabel has outgrown her highchair and LOVES to sit on Ollie's toddler chair at the table. We figured we better go get her one of her own. First thing we did when we got there was eat, because it's so cheap. Once everyone had full bellies we played in the kid area for awhile before taking Clara and Ollie to "Small Land", the supervised play land for kids. This was Ollie's first time going because a kid must be at least 37 inches tall. So the rest of us went to find our purchases and pay. After we picked up Clara and Ollie, Clara began to tell us about their experience in Small Land. Apparently, some child had pooped by the ball pit. (They are supposed to be potty trained.) Ollie happened to get poop on his arm. Clara noticed all this and alerted the staff. They made Clara help Ollie wash up while they blocked off the poopy area. I suspect they may have accused Ollie of being the pooper, because Clara kept telling us that she told the staff that he would never do such a thing. And she was correct. He did not poop by the ball pit. So...a couple of complaints. 1)The staff should have helped Ollie wash. Clara told us she forgot to use soap. 2) The staff should have told Damian that Ollie got someone else's poop on him when Damian picked up Ollie. They should consider hiring some supervisors over the age of 16 for Small Land. Yet, they both had a great time. Clara was really watching out for Ollie, which was nice to hear.

It was a windy day today so Damian and Clara thought it would be a good day to fly a kite. Clara has been wanting to do this for a long time, but windy days are few and far between here.

Day To Day

Ollie seriously enjoys his bath time! He still loves the rubber duckies.

Quavon comes home after school 3 times a week while his parents are at work. Today they all were having such a good time making "beds." Quavon made one for Isabel in a laundry basket.
