The kids were very excited to go.

Free Scoop Day!

Today Ben and Jerry's Scoop Shops were giving away a free scoop per customer as part of their anniversary celebration.  We just recently discovered the closest shop to us in Highland Village.  As a bonus, there is a flat water fountain area where kids can play and get wet.



I've been thinking about some places we want to go before we leave Dallas.  Some where we've been before and some new.  Here is our list so far:

1. Dallas Zoo (before our membership expires on 4/30) There will be a new bird show opening 4/23.

2.Forth Worth Zoo to see "Dinosaurs Unleashed"

3.Dallas Museum of Art (FREE Bank of America cardholder days first weekend of the month)

4.Nasher Sculpture Center (FREE Target Day first Saturday of the month)

5.Trinity River Audubon Center (FREE first Thursday of the month)

6.Dallas Museum of Nature and Science (FREE Bank of America cardholder days first weekend of the month)

7.Dinosaur Valley State Park (to maybe go camping for a night)

I would love to go back to Galveston and also to visit a cave (all of which are at least 4 hours from where we live) but time and money are running out for longer weekend trips.
