Partners in Crime

Can you guess?  Yes, Oliver and Isabel.  They like to take pictures with the only functioning camera in the family.  So the other day I went to load pics onto the computer and surprise, surprise, there were 50-some pictures.  Most I deleted, but I did keep a few.  Favorite subject?  Lewy, of course!  I thought these pics of Ollie's marble race were pretty psychodelic, man.

Pumpkins

It's officially Autumn and what better way to celebrate than with pumpkins.  Pumpkins top my list of favorite foods.  They are beautiful to look at and decorate with.  They symbolize bounty and whole foods.  I love to make my little wool pumpkins for all these reasons.  The kids painted theirs with white and black paint, great for Halloween.  We will carve some more closer to Halloween.  I'm currently gearing up for the UrbanStreetBazaar that happens next Saturday and Sunday.  My pumpkins will be there!

Updates

Damian completed his second round of board exams this past weekend.  He feels good about it, but won't know the actual results until later.  He has his first patient this week in the public clinic.

Clara has started testing during her school day for the LEAP program (extended learning).  I'm not sure how long the testing process takes, several weeks or months?

Oliver loves going to school, especially going to music with Ms. Gold.  She has puppets that she entertains them with.  Also, Mr. Bill plays the guitar for them.

When Ollie is at school, Izzy is a good girl and has been taking naps after lunch until it is time to get in line to pick up Ollie.  The time goes by very quickly.

Damian and I have joined the closest YMCA at a much reduced rate.  This entitles us to use of all equipment, exercise classes, pool use,  and child care when we are there.  I plan on going nearly every week day.  Friday was my first day.  Ollie and Izzy are getting used to the child care.  On Tuesdays and Thursdays the child care includes a bounce house type of thing that Ollie looks forward to.  It will be nice to have a place to swim during the colder months. I would like o get the kids in swimming lessons, but those cost extra so I need to still figure that out.  The staff there is really outstanding and super nice.

We purchase a small exercise trampoline so the kids can bounce for an energy release.  All of us are enjoying it.

I am super busy with my shop.  The online sales are trickling in, but mostly I'm preparing for the Urban Street Bazaar in less than 3 weeks.  I just got an order for stockings and a tree skirt (I haven't made one before.) that I am looking forward to making.
