Updates on updates

Damian=NO JURY DUTY! Isabel has a dentist appointment with a pediatric dentist who DOES take Medicaid. It happens to be the same day that Ollie has his filling. Thanks to all who have been concerned about our financial situation. It is just what we have to live with right now. This is our 3rd time around already and somehow we've always made it to the next check. I was invited to apply to be part of an official Etsy team called EtsyBaby. It will be a few days until I am approved or whatever they call it. They did invite me, however. So I'm busy making turtles and coming up with more ideas for my shop. For all you dog lovers: If you haven't already seen the movie Marley and Me, you should.

Look who came to visit today

It was only about 2 inches long, at the most.
Ollie wanted to keep it.
Clara wanted to save its life and let it go.
We let it go!

A few updates

Damian is constantly testing as the trimester is coming to an end shortly. This also means our funds are dangerously low until the 2nd week of September.
Isabel is beginning to potty train.
All 3 kids went to the dentist. Ollie and Izzy both have cavities. I feel like the worst mom ever! Ollie's will be taken care of next week and Izzy has an appointment with another dentist because the first one wouldn't treat her. Ugh! After Ollie has his fillings we won't be going back there!
I feel like packing up and moving to a house. (No surprise there.) If only it were that easy.
Next week I finally have another interview for food stamps. Hopefully that will all work out.
I was invited to have items for sale at Cobalt Gallery in Newton for December Christmas shopping. I'm working on new items for that event.
Netflix is my friend!
Damian was called for jury duty on Aug 10. We are trying to get him exempt because of his student status. Hopefully that works.

Playing outside

We spent many hours just playing around outside during our stay in Kansas. We swang, walked the dog, played at the park, ran through the sprinklers, made a pretend feast including pheasant eggs(golf balls) and sushi(grass and such wrapped in corn husks) and created a fort in the mosquito infested brush.

Goodbye training wheels!

We have been riding bikes every day!  Clara has finally decided she can ride bike without her training wheels.  The Kauffman Museum parking lot has been a good place for riding.

Paddle boating with Papa Rick

We had a great time paddling, eating, playing in the sand and visiting together.  Thanks Grandpa!
